Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees Announces the International Mile Team for the 2010 Boilermaker

The Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees has once again formed an International Mile Team with the generous support of Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. The International Mile team this year includes refugees from Burma, Bosnia, and Sudan. The team will participate in the Boilermaker 5k and 15k road race as well as the 3 mile walk.

This year, the Holland Patent Central School District Running team will be running with the International Mile team, which brings the group size to 46.

Refugees who are running in the Boiler maker for the first time will be fitted with proper running shoes at the Sneaker Store, another supporter of the International Mile Running Team as well as of the Boilermaker itself.
